Ozwald Boateng: Cut From A Different Cloth.


What has two thumbs and has always wanted an Ozwald Boateng suit? This guy (yes, I’m pointing at myself). Six years ago, I discovered Savile Row’s favorite son and have been a die-hard fan ever since. The Boateng brand of suit is known for its impeccable cut, attention to detail and its incredible use of color. It is not just the cut of his suit that makes him a brand we love, its the road he took to get there.

By 23, Ozwald had his own design studio and by age 27 he expanded his business to Savile Row, the tailoring epicenter. In 2003, he became Creative Director of Menswear at legendary fashion house Givenchy. In 2006, you could watch Boateng on the Sundance Channel as he tried to break into the U.S. market in House of Boateng. He’s won pretty much ever fashion award you can win from Best Male Designer to Fashion Personality of the Year.
